A lot of times in recreational sports, you're forced to choose the league offering *most* of what you want.  At Turf Burn Sports, we hope to fill the gaps left by the others, and then some.  We do this by not only providing options, but providing quality service as well; services such as:

• Statistics* - Who doesn't want to know what kind of stats they are putting up?  With statistics, you have the ability to translate flag football stats, to fantasy football stats.  Or perhaps you'd just prefer to brag.  Whatever the reason, we're all for it.


• Referees/Umpires that care about the game, the rules, and making the right calls.  Lets face it, refs can miss a call, but if that missed call is due to bias, lack of knowledge, or lack of caring, then the game can go from fun, to frustrating.  We work to eliminate that by hand selecting each ref/ump and providing each one with quality training.


• Timely games -  We have worked hard to create a system where we are prepared to play on time, and eliminate rain-out lag.  We show up and prep the field before you arrive...


• Rules Review -  Nothing is perfect, and a strict unchanging rules structure doesn't allow for a very dynamic and enjoyable environment.  We want to hear what our players have to say and implement the best ideas into our leagues.


• Web portal with private team content, as well as up to date, statistics and access to everything else our site has to offer

*Important Note Regarding Statistics

  Currently, we keep track of statistics for flag-football games only.


• 
  
  In order to properly keep track of statistics, we require that each player on a team has a large visible number located on the back of their jersey/shirt.

  Each team-member must have a unique number (no duplicates), however opposing teams may have players with the same number.


• 
  
  Statistics collection is a best efforts event, and we will do our best to provide consistent quality results; however, there may be technical difficulties from time to time, which may prevent statistics from being recorded for a particular player/game.


• 
  
  Teams are invited to keep their own statistics if they wish, however only statistics collected by an official Turf Burn Sports referee will be added to the league database.
